The CTFA technical team offers the service of artwork reviews to members using different approaches with different sized companies.
In order to align with the evolving regulatory requirements and to optimize the review process, a 3 step process has been implemented: Step 1: confirmation of artwork review requirements, Step 2: Review by Technical expert and Step 3: commitment by member.
This process is largely designed to accommodate members capacitated internally to effectively conduct this function, to accelerate the level of compliance, to add weight to the qualification process for Certificates of Free Sale (COFS) and as part of the internal process requirement for continued CTFA endorsement. The process continually evolves to ensure alignment on meeting member and regulatory requirements.
Small to medium sized Cosmetic companies
It is becoming more and more important for all companies to understand the regulatory requirements due to the impending Department of Health (DoH) regulations, more so the small to medium sized companies who normally do not have adequate resources and/or skills to address compliance.
In the regulated framework the labelling, claims, advertising and metrology requirements will become mandatory. The CTFA is working closely with members to provide a proactive approach to artwork reviews and to encourage compliance.
